Rollerdrome's Eiger Resort is a place to get away from the stresses of life... and engage in some good ol' fashioned murder!
Eiger Resort sees Rollerdrome players return to another snowy landscape. At a glance, you could be mistaken for thinking that this is a rehash of Civetta Summit. However, once you crash through a glass floor, and find yourself skating around a tucked-away indoor section, you will realize that this is a stage with more than a few fun little features cleverly hidden.

And Eiger Resort makes good use of those sneaky little areas. In fact, it has hidden some of those Combo Tokens inside them. Eiger Resort has a number of trickier challenges, which are pretty easy to lose track of when you are surrounded by enemies more than capable of ending your run. But worry not, we will see you through to the end.
Eiger Resort is among the most dynamic and interesting stages in the game. Similar to the Civetta Summit, this is a snowy stage split into three sections. However, it has a little more going on than you may first realize. In the back corner, there is a watch tower, but it isn't just for looks, you can actually Air Out onto it and skate around up there.
Then, just below the watch tower, you will see glass panels on the ground. These aren't just for show! You can break through them, and you will have a little indoor arena to skate around in. It also has ramps that lead to all the other sections of the stage. You'll probably stumble into this area at some point, but it is definitely something you can miss.
While in past guides we have recommended splitting these challenges in chunks and completing them in separate runs, that isn't even an option here. You will need to tackle these challenges in separate runs. It is pretty hard to not use your pistols while also staggering another enemy with your pistols.
Honestly, this is the best way to take out the Riot Guards anyway. Just ride up to one of the Riot Guards and either Super Dodge (dodge at the last second) their slam attack, or Super Dodge one of their mines, and then unload your pistols into them. Not only will you stagger them, but if you have a full clip, you will take them out.
This one is easy enough. There is a combo token hanging around in the back of the stage, hovering next to a wall. You need to wallride to get it anyway, so as you are doing so, just enter into Reflex Time and take out one of the nearby enemies. There will be a Grunt here, so it will be easy enough to do.
So, here we will just be... well... not using the pistols. You probably won't have your best run doing this, but your Shotgun acts a solid replacement.
This is a challenge that just requires that you be a little more careful than usual. As long as you don't try anything too wild, it isn't particularly difficult to not go out of bounds. However, you will probably want to do this on a separate run from the watch tower challenge; as that challenge will absolutely send you out of bounds if you miss your mark.
In the back corner of this stage, there is a watch tower. All you need to do is Air Out onto it. This may seem a little tricky at first, but the watch tower has a seam running up its side. If you align yourself with that seam, your Air Out will see you land gracefully on the tower.
While the previous area, the Barbican Arena, had the least interesting Combo Tokens in the game, Eiger Resort absolutely has the most interesting. The first three Combo Tokens you will encounter feel ordinary enough. For starters, a token is hovering above a ramp to your immediate right in the opening area. Next, there is a Combo Token hovering above the ramp that the Riot Guard you encounter first is standing on. Another Combo Token is simply hovering next to a wall in the back of this arena (it is hard to miss).
However, the last is where things get a little more interesting. There is a Combo Token hidden on that watch tower. So, skate around the watch tower, and you will be able to grab it. The final Combo Token is in the same area as the watch tower. Barrel through one of the glass panels, and you will find yourself in a hidden room. The Token is right in the middle of it.
We have reached the point in the game where the combos just require that you link every single kill together. This means that, at this point, if you clear the combo challenge, you will also clear Morgan Fray's All-Time Best Score. So, we are now just formally combining the two sections into one.
So, when linking all the kills together, you are going to want to do something pretty similar to what you did in the Civetta Summit: which is to say, that you are going to rotate between the three bespoke sections of the stage.
So, you will start in a section of the stage that will feature a Riot Guard, that will then be followed by a Mecha Brut (once you take the Riot Guard out). After you clear out those enemies, you will wallride across the back wall, and take out a Polybeam, Warhead, Sniper, and a Riot Guard. Then you will circle around to the third area, where you will clear out another Warhead.
Once you have cleared out that third area, hop over to the first area again, and prepare to clear out the next wave of enemies and complete the rotation a second time. This stage actually has the fewest enemies in the game, so it will go pretty quickly.
Your life will be considerably easier if you make sure to take out the Polybeam while in your Super Reflex Time. This will increase your damage output and make it possible to take out a Polybeam with one clip from your Dual Pistols. Otherwise, you will need to chase them down at least once.
Now, we are going to take our plan for getting the complete combo, and adjust a few things so that we can get a higher score. Firstly, make sure to start the stages with big tricks that you ride all the way to the ground. The stage gives you two ramps to use for tricks before you even enter into the arena, so use these ramps to pump up your base score.
Next, we are going to make sure you grab two of the most perilous (to our combo) Combo Tokens. In previous stages, this wouldn't have required much of an adjustment, but some of the Combo Tokens are better squirreled away here, so you are going to need to plan things out if you are going to insert them into the combo.
One thing to note is that we are going to try to keep Grunts alive. That way we will have an emergency kill to keep our combos going. Secondly, once you enter the area with the watchtower (the second area in our proposed route), you are going to hop up to it, and grab the Combo Token that is hidden here.
You will need to beeline it to the watch tower after having killed an enemy, as you need to have a pretty healthy combo meter; otherwise, you may lose your combo while circling the tower to get the Token. After you grab that Combo Token, break through one of the glass panels on the ground and grab the other Combo Token hidden in this area. The rest of 'em are just above ramps, so those are easy enough to grab as you go.
Finally, clear the stage as you normally would, but end the run by performing some of your unused tricks. Do this closish to the Grunts you left alive (and the remaining Combo Tokens) so that you can pop them when your combo is running low. Following this strategy will assure that you absolutely blow past Morgan Fray's score.
Once you finish the stage, you will be instructed to enter into the next zone. You will be facing off against your first boss! For more information on how to beat them, click on the link below.Next: Rollerdrome: How To Beat The Spider Tank Boss
